The Lagos-Abeokuta-Ibadan train service operations have officially begun, according to the Nigeria Railway Corporation (NRC). After President Muhammadu Buhari opened formally the train line on June 10, 2021, Mr. Jerry Oche, the Railway District Manager, made this declaration in Lagos.

The Lagos-Ibadan Train Service (LITS) provides a variety of fully conditioned train services. These trains are made up of recently purchased coaches and locomotives. Additionally, there are choices for everyone as there are Economy, Business, and First Class ticket classifications.

Lagos to Ibadan Train Schedule

On Tuesday, June 15, 2021, the train service between Lagos and Ibadan officially started running. Each day, the LITS arranges 4 outings.

  • Stop-over & take-off at Samuel Ladoke Akintola Station, Omi-adio by 10.26 am
